FUNDRAISER FOR PERMANENT CEILING - PILSEN HALL BOOK AND ART SALE, January 16 through 21, 2012. Join us January 16th through the 21st between 10:00am and 6:00pm for our first ever book and art sale in Pilsen Hall. You will be treated to free admission to the museum, Prague International Gifts Shop, a glass of wine, and the viewing of our 1,289 piece spectacular Ottervik Czech glass/ceramics collection produced for export only between the two World Wars. 1918-1938. Book genres include novels, detectives, mysteries, biographies, cookbooks and collectibles! We also have a variety of framed and unframed artwork and much more! We look forward to seeing you. You will be glad you came!

CZECH REPUBLIC BRASS ORCHESTRA, Stříbrňanka DEBUTS March 3, 2012 IN PRAGUE HALL HOUSTON. You will not want to miss the Czech Republic Brass Orchestra (Dechová hudba Stříbrňanka) debuting in Prague Hall at the Czech Center Museum Houston’s Eighteenth Annual Members and Friends Dinner Meeting, Saturday, March 3, 2012. Doors open 5:30 p.m. Open to the public. Concert 6:30pm, Dinner, Dancing and Entertainment from the orchestra. RSVPs will be necessary by February 27, 2012. Complimentary Valet Parking.  General admission $50.00.
