ZUŠ Kyjov Cimbál Ensemble
The art school in Kyjov has been teaching music for over 70 years and its ensembles are annually placed at the top of folklore music competitions. In the history of the school, a large number of pupils have passed through its ranks and have later become personalities in their field. Among its graduates are, for example, violist Libor Meisl – a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and violinist Marek Blaha – a member of the Prague Symphony Orchestra FOK. The school's song repertoire focuses mainly on the Kyjov region.
