school group visits
adults and university group visits
The CCMH’s school group visits aim to inspire curiosity and foster lifelong relationships between students and the artifacts through interactive, inquiry-based explorations of art, history, and culture. A volunteer gallery teacher will introduce the group to the permanent collection or a special exhibition.
Hour-long gallery lessons are available to school groups with at least three weeks advance notice. We can accommodate a maximum of 40 students (and required chaperones*) Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10:30am and 11:30am.
To request a guided visit for your school, please complete the K-12 Group Visit Request form.
*1 chaperone is required for every 8 students.
School group visits are $8 per student, including on Thursdays. Required chaperones and teachers accompanying the group are free. Additional adults pay the general admission price of $10.
We offer discounted admission for groups of 10+
To be eligible for discounted group rates, it is important to meet the group criteria set by the Czech Center Museum Houston.
This includes:
Having a minimum of 10 people in the group
Making reservations at least two weeks prior to the scheduled visit, and ensuring that the payment is completed at least 72 hours in advance.
By adhering to these requirements, groups can enjoy the benefits of reduced rates and a seamless visit to the museum.
