The Ice Hockey World Championship starts in Switzerland on May 15th, and on May 23rd, the Czechs and Slovaks will face off. Since it is played in Europe, this match takes place at 9:20 AM Houston time, which is probably not the time when we could get together and watch hockey with a beer in hand and cheer.

We are lucky to have technology and a convenient location, so we can gather at a more reasonable time and cheer together (each to their own, of course). And that will be at the Czech Center Museum Houston, starting at 4:00 PM.

Again, you have two options - watch the match on Saturday morning. Or not watch the match and take a half-day break from the news and social media channels and let the result surprise you.

Just like in years before, we will have a large screen, and you will be able to purchase chilled beer and wine on site. Everyone will bring their own snacks.

This is an event for everyone - adults and children. After all, we have to raise the future generation of fans. If the kids don't enjoy it, there will be entertainment available in the form of coloring books and various games.
