Oral History Project Day

  • Czech Center Museum Houston 4920 San Jacinto Street Houston, TX, 77004 United States (map)

The Czech Center Museum Houston invites you to be part of history! On this special day, guests are welcome to share their personal stories in one of three areas:

  • Czech Immigration to the U.S. – Experiences of families and individuals who made the journey to America.

  • Life under Communism in Czechoslovakia – Memories of daily life, challenges, and resilience during the Cold War era.

  • Czech-American Military History – Reflections on service and sacrifice from those with Czech and Slovak heritage.

Our staff and interns will conduct the interviews, and each story will become a permanent part of our museum’s archive. By participating, you help preserve Czech and Slovak heritage for future generations.
