About the Artist

Peter Michalík comes from Nové Sady near Nitra and studied Cultural Management and Tourism at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. He currently lives and works in Nitra. Peter is passionate about hiking, which he inseparably connects with photography. He finds inspiration for his photos mainly in the beautiful Slovak landscape, but also abroad. He is a member of the Nitra Photo Club at the Regional Cultural Centre and of the Union of Slovak Photographers. Since 2010, Peter has been regularly exhibiting his photographs in solo and group shows.
